Philharmonic House

May 26th, 2011

While I was in Orange County at West Week I had an opportunity to see the Philharmonic House. It was back in March but I came across the photos on my phone recently and wanted to share them. You can see more of the Philharmonic house here.

Best Hot Fudge Sauce EVER!
12 ounce package semi sweet chocolate chips.
1 cup butter

Melt together, and then add:
4 cups powdered sugar
2 2/3 cups evaporated milk

Alternate sugar and milk while pouring.

Boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly, and then add 2 tsp. vanilla.

Robert McArthur Creative Spaces for Cooks, is being sold at Alice Lane Home Collection (Provo), Three French Hens (Salt Lake), Plates and Palates (Bountiful), and Indigo Sage Gallery (Ogden).

I spent the weekend in fabulous New York. I had the opportunity of going through the 39th annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Each room is done by a different designer which gives a diverse and eccentric feel.

I was honored when Alice Lane asked me to be a guest blogger for their site this week. Check it out here. Jessica has a great sense of style and panache and you can feel it as soon as you walk in the doors at Alice Lane. Her store is amazing and if you haven’t already, I would recommend you stop by!

If you are local you may recognize Robert McArthur Studios. After introducing you to my team I wanted to show you where we work. I renovated a home that was in the historic Fort District of Bountiful to become our studio. Here you can see the wall that sits just west of our studio. I wanted to keep with the tradition of the Fort District! More pictures to come.

I want to introduce my studio to you. I have the opportunity to work with some talented people. It takes a great group of people to organize and execute so many different projects.
