One more week to see the Northern Wasatch Parade of Homes. Here are a few pictures of Del Mar (house #11) to get you excited! If you get a chance to see this home, make a note to look at the ceiling in the kitchen. It looks like bead board but is actually wallpaper! Unfortunately you won’t be able to touch to see if it’s real like the wallpaper I used in the kitchen at Saint Augustine.
Thank you to Henry Walker Homes for sending us some great photos of Bridgeport. I did the interior detailing and furnishings for this home as well HWH house #11 featured in the Northern Wasatch Parade of homes. The parade is going on now! Make sure to see house #2 and #11!

I am remodeling a charming historic home in Salt Lake City that was built around the 1890′s. I stopped by this week to consult with the home owner and check on its progress. Things are moving right along. Mark your calendars- the home will be featured in the Salt Lake Parade of Homes August 3rd-18th!
We are a week away from the Northern Wasatch Parade of Homes starting on June 22nd! Here is another DIY idea from our model home using paint. In the boy’s bedroom I added a simple stripe to create interest.
I used accent paint to give each room it’s own unique character. I used the same color throughout the home for a cohesive look.

Just days until the Northern Wasatch Parade of Homes! I always enjoy getting inspiration from other homes and hope that you will gain some inspiration from our HWH model this year at Old Farm. To add character and pizazz to this room I had our painter paint a “headboard” onto the wall. I love that something as simple as paint can add dimension and spark to a room.

For the next few days I will be installing Old Farm (HWH model home that will be featured in the Northern Wasatch Parade of Homes). Because the home is located in “rural” Kaysville I went with a Farm House style to give a nod to the original farming community.
Now that most of the furniture is placed it’s time for the accessories and details!
Once the rest of the wallpaper goes up I can start hanging art work!
