I am enjoying every day here in Brazil. The time spent with Danny and his lovely Wife Eliane was a true cultural experience. Years ago Danny came from England to Brazil. He brought Brazil many wonderful traditional English furniture building techniques. His love for England is felt in every piece of furniture that he creates. He has a great ability to draw each piece of furniture by pen and paper as if he were creating a work of art. His love for his new found country and love of his wife Eliane are shown with rich cultural detail from both countries. Danny employs many talented individuals from Brazil that then hand make each piece. Very few machines are used. Each piece is then hand finished with a luster that is unequaled. It is always a true joy to be with the Smedley’s in their lovely tropical paradise.
