35 years ago I designed the Maple Hills condos in Bountiful.  It was such cutting edge design for the time, with courtyards in the center and private patios for each condo.  The condos are still great and I like seeing how well the design has held up to the test of time.  However, 35 years later they may be in need of a little updating.  One of my old clients has bought a condo and hired me to design the remodel.

On the main floor I updated the master suite with a large walk-in closet and a private bathroom.   These changes were possible due to space I gained by eliminating the courtyard.  The other bedroom on the main floor was turned into a nice laundry room and boot room that connects to the garage.  The stairs were relocated and the powder bath reconfigured.  The living room will get a facelift by changing the sliding glass doors to French doors.  The deck off the dining room is being expanded and an additional set of French doors has been added.

On the lower level one of the bedrooms has been changed into an office and additional storage space has been added.   All the lower level sliding glass doors will also be changed to French doors.
