Neoeclectic Home with Strong Tudor Cottage Influence

May 5th, 2015

This is a wonderful house that I designed just over ten years ago.  This home is influenced by several architectural styles, so I call it neoeclectic.  However, the strongest influence is the tudor cottage.  The complex roof lines that are both steep and sloping are stylistically tudor cottage.   Other typical elements are prominent chimneys, small dormer windows, and arched windows and doors.  Tudor cottages are also commonly constructed with brick and stone.
