I am so excited about a remodel I have designed for a home in Bountiful just around the corner from my Lakeview Drive Houses. For this remodel I didn’t want to change the footprint of the house or create any additions. The design concept was to open the space up as much as possible and modernize it for today’s living. A wonderful great room, kitchen, pantry, and a lovely formal dining space was created out of four rooms. Beams were placed to open up the stairwell (vs. the old shaft style). The master bathroom was updated and another bedroom on the main floor was added. We will be dressing up the exterior with new columns on the front porch, adding hardy board, painting the brick and adding more shingles. I can’t wait to see this come together.
